Randall J. Chiera graduated from Brooklyn Law School where he was the Chairman of the Moot Court Honor Society and received his Juris Doctor degree. He began his career with a prestigious downtown Manhattan law firm as a litigator in the Construction Litigation Practice Group, representing large property owners and construction companies. He appeared in the Courts of all five boroughs as well as the outer suburbs.
Mr. Chiera then joined a boutique plaintiff’s personal injury law firm headed by a former Supreme Court Judge. Mr. Chiera, as a trial attorney for this cutting edge firm, tried many cases to successful verdicts and settlements and achieving millions of dollars for his clients. Some results were published in various jury verdict reporting services. He has also written many scholarly articles and has been published in the New York State Bar Journal and the New York Law Journal.
Mr. Chiera founded his New York City law firm in 1996, currently with offices in Westchester and Putnam Counties. He is admitted to practice in New York State and Federal Courts. His firm primarily handles serious Personal Injury cases. The firm also has practices in Criminal cases, Commercial transactional and litigation matters, Wills, Probate and Real Estate sales and purchases. Mr. Chiera’s has over thirty years experience as an attorney and is an excellent and dedicated advocate for his clients.
Mr. Chiera previously served as an officer in the New York Military Reserves, where Captain Chiera served as Commander for the 5th Legal Detachment. and subsequently, as Commander of the 17th Detachment of the 56th Area Command of the New York Guard.
